You can try to leave the spy game. But, ultimately it will catch up with you. And, your family.
Weâre big fans of action movies. Espionage, explosions, car chases? Whatâs not to love? Add in Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx? Yes, please! Itâs all here in Netflixâs Back in Action, recently released on the service.
Back in Action tells the story of Matt (Foxx) and Emily (Diaz) who, once being successful spies, have since settled down to start a family. Unfortunately, their enemies have long memories, and the coupleâs past comes back to haunt them. However, instead of just the two taking on the action, Matt and Emily are now forced to bring their kids, Leo (Rylan Jackson), and Alice (McKenna Roberts) on a global pursuit to rid themselves of their adversaries. With help from Emilyâs Mother, Ginny (Glenn Close), the family return to the spy game, bringing along a lot of actionâ¦and comedy with them.
Not only does Back in Action pair Diaz and Foxx back (they were last together in 2014âs Annie), this also marks the return of Diaz to the big screen after a ten-year hiatus. You can catch the Fire TV-exclusive trailer here.
