This cufflink and tie bar set is made from beautiful solid mahogany wood. Mahogany is a hard wood ranging from a very pale pink to a deeper reddish brown, sometimes with streaks of medium to dark reddish brown. Color tends to darken with age. All of our cufflinks and tie bars start out with a silver plated base and solid wood. The design is cut out of wood by our laser. We then hand-sand and seal each piece to ensure a smooth finish. We finish each piece by gluing the wood to the silver base and packaging in a gift ready jewelry box.
