Tieralia was born from my personal journey to eliminate chemical-based cleaning agents and plastics in my home. As a former chemical engineer, I witnessed the harmful effects of toxic chemicals on people’s health and the environment. Frustrated by the lack of affordable and plant-based options, I decided to create Tieralia.

As a Black/Latinx-owned company, our name, derived from the Spanish word for “Earth” (“tierra”), reflects our Earth-focused approach.
