Our alpaca duvets are filled with 400 grams per square meter of pure alpaca wool providing a mid-weight comforter for year round warmth. With no secondary materials or sheep’s wool, only clean tops, carded and clean combed fiber are used to ensure excellence in quality.

An extra soft, beautifully smooth and crisp 400 thread count cotton cover provides 100% natural materials with no synthetic layers.

High quality Peruvian alpaca wool bears no lanolin, which is typically found in wool. No chemicals, dye, or bleaches are used in production of the naturally dried and cleaned fill.

What’s Special About Alpaca Fiber?

Alpaca fiber is warmer, lighter, and stronger than wool while as warm and comfortable as a down duvet. It’s soft, durable, and luxurious natural fiber is resistant to saturation that makes it water and odor resistant. The inner material is made of carded and combed cleaned primary material with no secondary materials used during the processing of the fiber and the production of the duvet. It’s hollow core follicle provides the duvet a natural thermal nature which helps regulates your body temperature to keep you warm but not sweaty throughout the night. Alpaca fiber is also flame-resistant and meets the US Consumer Product Safety Commission’s standards.
