I bought this specifically for a project using a gradient yarn cake that I was pulling from the outside. It works a treat.It’ll spin and catch up and never lose momentum. The quality is superb. This is FANTASTIC!!! I saw one on FB, so looked for one on Amazon. Found this one. Besides being so much more attractive than the thin white metal one on FB, it has an impressively strong magnet that allows it to spin easily. No pulling or snagging. It makes it smoother and easier to crochet my project, and my stitches even as there are no tension issues. Size is perfect to easily carry from room to room.Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. Polished wood, easy to wipe off and dust.
