Description of RPA40BT: The RPA40BT is a 4 zone true 4 channel receiver for home audio or commercial audio.. . It has a true 4 channel amplifier built in. Each channel has independent volume controls allowing you to connect speakers in up to 4 different rooms. You can easily add on a wall volume controller if you want to control the volume from each room.. . Each channel/zone is 4-8 ohm stable which means you can connect (2) 8 ohm speakers in parallel on each channel which would allow you to connect up to 8 speakers (2 per zone).. . Stereo/Mono. . This has a stereo/mono switch which just means that if you connect 2 channels into a single zone you can get stereo separation of left and right channels. This receiver supports 4 mono zones or 2 stereo zones.. . High power. . When you pick this receiver up you can feel how heavy it is. It has a thick metal chassis to protect the internal amplifier. The amplifier puts out 250 watts RMS and 1,000 watts of peak power. All 4 zones have independent amplifiers that will easily power 1-2 speakers.. . Playback options. . The RPA40BT has a high quality Bluetooth chip with a 35 foot range. It also has an RCA input to connect any audio device as well as an optical input to connect your television.
